Well, it's Tuesday. I barely survived Monday. Terrible day. My computer crashed AGAIN on Sunday (I'm on my old, crappy one right now), school was just ridiculous, and then I had a car accident. It was raining ridiculously hard and I was heading to Tyler's house to eat dinner. He lives about 15 minutes away from me. It was obvious it was about to storm really bad, so I left in hopes of beating the storm. Well...it didn't quite work out that way. It started raining buckets on me about four miles from his house and people here SUCK at driving in rain. All the people in front of me slammed on their brakes, I slammed on my breaks, heard the squeeling tired, and just waited on the impact. The guy tried not to slam into me, but it was slick and he couldn't stop. He was in a pickup with a grill guard, so it did some work on the back passenger side of my car. He was really sweet about it, though. I got all his info, he's a lawyer who went to TX Wesleyan (what are the odds?) and felt terrible. It was raining sooooo hard, so we didn't even call the cops. He just gave me his insurance info and let me copy down all the stuff from his driver's license. I'm going to get an estimate next week and hopefully find time to get it fixed soon. I was shaken up, but it wasn't world ending by any means. At least I had a pretty boy to comfort me afterwards. My dad was pretty pissed and my parents are threatening to come down here to help me get it fixed and stuff. I don't have time for that right now, though, I have a midterm in torts next week. Ugh. Getting a little overwhelmed again, but life is basically good.
The new boy said he can help me w/ the car situation and drive me around while it's getting fixed. Another good friend from class offered to drive me around and help me out with stuff, and another one helped me out by getting my assignments from my first class today (might have skipped that one because I'm having a craptastic day...hehe). At least I've met some people to help me out since none of y'all are around :( And they're all really pretty guys...so that helps a lot! Tehehehe.
I'm cooking the new boy dinner tonight...and this is a big step. I generally don't cook for guys, so everyone cross your fingers and hope it goes well! I'm so ready to see everyone. I'm all smart and lawyerish now...ok, that's a lie, I'm not. I am a far bigger dork than I was when I left. Ask Jenn, she's seen it first hand. Two things I have discovered and notice more and more everyday: 1) Law school and maturity absolutely do not go hand-in-hand. In fact, we're probably all much more immature than we were at this time last year. 2) I thought law school would mean less drinking. Not true. I of course gravitated towards the worst influences I could possibly find. Haha, at least it's fun.
Good story: The way our classes are divided is kind of strange. I have torts, civ pro, property, and contracts with the same about 90 people every day and we chose our seats the first week of class. So, I sit with the same group in every class and they're the people I hang out with outside of class. Our other class is writing and it divides the 90 of us up into four smaller sections. Probably my best guy friend here is in my smaller writing section (he's sooooo cute and sweet, Jenn and Christine have heard LOTS about him when I get drunk hehehe). Last Friday, we got out of writing and were standing in the hall trying to decide what to do during our hour and forty-five minute lunch break. It was me, Clint (my friend), probably the dorkiest kid in school, and the token, smart, Asian kid, who barely speaky any English. We decided to go grab something quick and bring it back to the library. We hop in Clint's car and dorky guy pipes up from the back "I could use a beer." I think he was probably kidding, but Clint and I were hung over from the night before and we were just like "Done." Asian kid is freaking out in the back, so we basically just kidnap him. We go to the Mexican food place, walk in, and it's PACKED. So we decided to just drive until we see a restaurant with booze. We see a sign and all we read is "Cafe. Beer. Wine." Done. We go in and are like "Ummmm, this place is weird, but they have booze. Whatever." We sat down and quickly discovered...we were in a straight Vegan restaurant!!! No meat, no cheese, NOTHING. Just like sprouts and tofu. They did, however, have $1.50 Pabst Blue Ribbon beer. Seriously. I kid you not. Is that just super counterintuitive?! P.S. All I could think about while I order three Pabst (at the same time) was Matt and Aggi drinking Pabst in the limo. So we downed three Pabst a piece and ate tofu, went back to class late and feeling REALLY well. Asian kid kept getting up to pee, Clint and I kept laughing at inappropriate times. GOOD DAY. So, from now on, Friday's are the designated VEGAN AND BOOZE days. And we're taking other people down with us! That's how we're going to win at law school. Get all the smart kids drunk and make them fail so we win. Man, we are smart. :)
Time to get ready for class. I hope everyone has a great week!

I just got back from class a little while ago and have no desire to start my homework yet. It's been a stressful couple of days and I really want to just chill and play with my dogs. I thought I'd take an opportunity to vent a little on here. School is going pretty good, I suppose. My love life is going REALLY great at the moment :) I met an amazing guy who I adore and who equally adores me. But for some reason I've been out of control stressed and anxious for the last two days. Poor Jenn has had to listen to it nonstop and I LOVE her even more than ever for being patient with me. One thing I'm learning about law school is that people seriously underestimate cute, blonde girls. And it's frustrating. I rarely speak in class, because as the saying goes: I'd rather be silent and thought a fool than heard and known a fool. But I've found that when I do speak, no one in class or in groups takes me seriously even if I have a really valid point. It's slowly beating me down. My new favorite guy listens and takes me seriously, as does my close group of friends, but that's a very small minority of people. It's really getting me down. On top of that, there's a new guy and, even though it's going so extremely great, it really stresses me out. The idea of possibly getting my heart broke one more time is honestly almost too much to handle. And that fact that we have all of our classes together is adding to that stress. So I keep freaking out about everything. I've been really tired lately, maybe that is part of it.
On a happier note, besides the amazing new guy, I've made some really great friends. That makes school a lot easier to deal with. They're mostly guys, of course, but they're great people. I gravitated towards a group of people who are a lot like me. The one probably most unlike me is the one I'm seeing, he's pretty straight laced and studious...but OH SO PRETTY. We're talking model pretty. And he's a ton of fun and silly and sweet and fairly perfect :) Hopefully he sticks around for a while. I need to go get to work on my homework. Once again, sorry there's not a lot of humor or wit going on today...I'm just not really in the mood. I needed to vent. And Frank and Beans are passed out cold again, hahaha. All they do is sleep when I'm home because I'm home for like 2 hours a day and they don't sleep much when they're outside. Let me see if I can rouse Beans to say hello...
Beans: Ugh. Owner. Is. An. Idiot. I'm going back to bed to continue dreaming about world domination. Ugh. And owner is stressing out about school. What she doesn't realize, however, is that I could teach her everything she needs to know and more! Haha, but I WILL NOT share my intelligence with such a petty human being. Ugh.
Frank: Zzzzzzzzzzz........

Back to Blogging
OK, OK...I said I was going to keep up with this blog since I'm so far away from all of y'all and I have failed miserably at it. But it's taken me these last three weeks of school to get settled in at school and get my life on track. I promise I will keep the blog updated now, though! I survived the first three weeks of law school. I'm not sure how, any of you that have talked to me since school started know how terrible the first two weeks were. However, last week was much better. The reading is intense and I'm always lost. The subject matter is interesting, though. We have our first major writing project due next Tuesday and our only midterm on the 30th, so I will be very busy for the next week. Most of you know that I was extremely ill during the second week and my computer crashed. I had probably the worst couple days of my life and I almost quit school. It was bad, but things are so much better now. I've made some AWESOME friends :) Of course, they're all guys. You girls are pretty much the extent of my female friends...and I'm more than okay with that. I went to lbk this past weekend and that was AWESOME. I'm exhausted now, though. I have a lot to do tonight and I'm not feeling particularly motivated. OK, anyway, on to the more important and AWESOME stuff:
I met a boy! :D He is ADORABLE. Jenn met him, she can vouche for how cute he is and that he's very sweet. I won't go into details, because it terrifies me to put stuff like that online. But, he's cute, sweet, smart, and he's in all of my classes, so hopefully it doesn't get weird. Oh...and he likes me! That's a plus! I spent a ton of time with him this weekend and am really excited about it! So, keep your fingers crossed that something good comes out of this, I really need something good going on to keep my spirits up a little.
Oh, on another note, my parents couldn't get ahold of me for like four hours today and they literally went into panic mode. I was with the guy and had left my phone in the other room so Jenn didn't text me something embarrassing about him and him accidentally see it(and she did, like I knew she would haha) so I never heard them calling. They called Eric (because he's in town) and he hadn't seen me, so they REALLY freaked out. So then they called Jenn. Well, she knew where I was, but couldn't very well be like "Yea...well, she's shacked up with some guy and can't talk right now." When I finally got ahold of my mom, she was about to call the Fort Worth police and make sure I hadn't died. We had a small fight over that. Ha. Ridiculous.
I have a ton of homework and really need to get cracking on it. I'll update my blog more often, especially now that I'm a little less stressed out and happier.
Frank and Beans will not be blogging today. They are seriously pissed off at me because I left them alone outside all weekend. They are on a mission to annoy me to death tonight. Sorry about that, they'll have something to say next time I'm sure.

Annoying People Love Me
Well, I finished my very first law school class today. Legal analysis, research, and writing. Yuck. Surprisingly, it wasn't too bad. It was four hours long, so that was terrible, but it wasn't even 1/10 as terrifying as I expected. I had heard that my professor was the hardest professor a 1L can have at TX Wesleyan, so I expected him to be really intimidating and mean. He was actually really nice and approachable. He did tell us straight up, though, that we are going to hate his class. OH oh, and here's the great part: it's one of the classes I have for two semesters, rather than one. But, anyway, I feel so much better about school than I did yesterday. Jenn talked to me both days and I think she will agree that today was much better than yesterday. I already have tons of reading, a writing assignment, and several cases to brief before Monday and Tuesday, but I am determined to enjoy my weekend. Speaking of, I really hope Nicholas gets over here soon. Yayyyy for the weekend! I'm refusing to do any more homework until Sunday. We learned how to brief cases today. That is definitely going to be an acquired skill. It was tough.
Hahaha, by the way, random piece of information: we discussed for almost an hour a case in which the donor had given the donee an engagement ring on the condition that they get married (basically, he proposed lol) and then donor broke the engagement off and sued donee to get the ring back. We learned what the law is pertaining to that situation in which states. Haha, of course I would learn that my first day of law school.
On another note, do I have a note stapled on my forehead that says "Annoying people, please come to me!"? Because I'm starting to think that I do. I attracted more than one of those people today. My mom says it's because I'm approachable. If anyone has any thought on how to become unapproachable, please let me know. Thanks.
I am absolutely exhausted. I don't have enough energy today to be clever, I apologize. I hope all is well for everyone! And now...the puppies:
Frank: i pooped in the floor today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beans: Ugh. Frank. Is. An. Idiot.
Tianna: True story. Frank pooped in my floor while I was gone...even though he has a perfectly good doggy door. OH, and here's the great part: he pooped about six inches inside of the doggy door. Seriously! "Tianna," you may ask, "how do you know it was Frank?" To that I respond, "(insert your name here), the poop was the size of Beans' entire body. I do believe Frank has finally pooped up the infamous penny."

Syllabi, Peni, and Pennies
*note: random, off topic thoughts will now appear in a different color and italics. There will be many, you all know how I am
Well, today is my last stress free day. Orientation starts at 3:30 tomorrow afternoon and I'm quite nervous. Tomorrow should be a realatively easy day, however. We just have a couple meetings about "How to Survive Law School" and introductory kind of things. Friday will suck, however. I have my first class Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. with Professor Simon, otherwise known as Satan. This isn't good. I finally have all of my syllabi *That's such a fun word "syllabi". It's like "peni" (the word one uses when describing more than one penis, although I'm not exactly sure why one speaks of more than one penis at a time), only cooler because "syllabi" is actually a word. After extensive research, I have discovered that "peni" is in fact a word I made up in my head. But, considering that I have a degree in English, I think if I say it's a word, then damnit it's a word!!!* Anyway, I finally have all of my syllabi and all of my first week assignments. So basically I already have a large load of homework. I tried to get a good jump on it last night, but Nick came over and distracted me. You all know I was ok with that, though.
On another note, I received a letter from my housing complex yesterday warning me of an increasing number of break ins around here lately. Awesome! So much for my landlord telling me there had been no crime around here in the three years she has lived here.
*note: dream sequences will be written in blue. And you all know there will be a lot, I have crazy dreams.
Last night I had a dream that Brooke, Amanda, and I were at a carnival or fair or some such something with rides and games. Details are fuzzy, but I do know that we were all preparing to go to some sort of graduate school. Amanda and I were going to OSU and I'm not sure where Brooke was going (um, can you say anxiety about starting a new school next week? Is this sounding familiar to anyone? It was just like senior year of high school again). Anyway, we were at this thing and Brooke and Amanda were running up a water slide backward and Coach Richardson was yelling at them. Then we rented these sweet little Go-Go-Gadget individual helicopters and were flying around. They were making fun of me because my fear of heights was really kicking in. Then, suddenly, Amanda and I were driving to Stillwater to start school. Only, we weren't roommates. I had a roommate named Ashley...and when we arrived at the dorm, my roommate was none other than Amanda's old sorority sister, Ashley! It was a strange dream. I just wanted to share it.
Well, I need to go get my day started. I hope everyone is having a good week so far.
Jenn: Don't forget the Real World tonight and I hope your toe feels better soon.
Kristin: Keep your head up and take care of yourself.
The dogs would now like to update you on the happenings in their lives.
Frank: last night, nick threw a penny at mom. i ate it. i ate it. i ate it before they could stop me. yuuuuuuuum. then they locked me out of that room upstairs. but thats ok because i ate moms highlighter and nicks chapstick. yummmm. i like that guy and all but he sure does get a lot more attention than me. so i ate penny and his chapstick. take that pretty boy!
Beans: Frank. Is. An. Idiot.
I miss chasing squirrels in our old, giant backyard. All I have to do here is sit around and work on solving the mysteries of quantum physics and devise a plan for global domination. It's tough being a genius trapped in a body like this. My owner -I call her that only because she feeds me, she's actually a pawn in my e-vil plot to take over the world- tried to find me a girlfriend. She claims my other silly pawn in my evil plot, AKA Nick, has a beautiful female mutt named Abby. I seriously have reservations about letting those two set me up on a blind date, however. I mean, come one, we have all seen their taste in the opposite sex. While I may be of an entirely different species, I think I know bad taste when I see it! But, what is this they tell me?! Abby is dating a pit bull? And it is serious?! She urinates in his yard everyday during her walk. Now that is commitment. But, really, a pit bull? Oh the shame. I am just not sure that I even want to be associated with someone who urinates in pit bull's yards. It is just not right. I must go now. It is time to lick my weiner while contemplating world domination.

Our First Adventure
Well, it's 10:38 A.M. on one of my last short days of freedom. I got a new computer and decided to start a blog. I know...it's ridiculous. But I'm so far away from everyone and, to be honest, I'm used to having Jenn around pretty much 24/7 to listen to me vent. So, this is now my new outlet. Maybe it will get me out of a little bit of homework. Currently, it's getting me out of going to Best Buy and Petsmart, taking a library tour on campus, and beginning my reading assignments. Ha!
Anyway, I just wanted a way to keep everyone updated on The Adventures of Tianna, Frank, and Beans. Frank and Beans will be posting updates periodically, as well. I'm aware Jenn may be the only person who reads this. And that's ok with me :)
And, p.s., Jeff is in town and came over for a few beers last night. Anyone who knows what happened last time Jeff, Frank, and I were in the same room knows that things did not end well for Frank (hence him sleeping with Jenn that night). And, well, I'll just let Frank tell you about last night:
last night, i was just sitting at home, enjoying myself and looking cute like usual. suddenly, there was a knock on the door. naturally, i lept up to protect my master and growl menacingly at the would-be intruder, or lick him to death, depending who it was. then, to my horror, jeff/cameron/whatever his name is came stolling through the door like he owned the place! i remember what happened last time i saw that guy. he tried to bludgeon me to death with one of those stick things those crazy people are always pointing at the crazy box thing and laughing hysterically at. you know what im talking about. he claimed it was momma who did it. i dont believe him. i remember it very clearly. i was sitting innocently in the floor when he walked up to me, told me he hated me, and clobbered me with that stick thingy. i remember and i have a memory like an elephant...
wait, what was i talking about
oh right. i remember. so i proceeded to whine and tuck my tail under my legs for the rest of the evening and stay the heck away from that crazy mean man for the rest of the night. i know it was him who wacked me that night. bastard.
Beans: Frank. Is. An. Idiot.
